We go up to the North of the region – this means we are not nearby the airport when the camp ends. The transfer from our last location to the airport takes around 4 to 7 hours by car (depending on your final destination).
What to expect

This is an example of what the camp’s program could be — but it changes with the wind.
We start with your airport transfer from Fortaleza to Cumbuco. Your room is ready from 4pm. Already in the area? Join us!

We travel along Brazil’s stunning northeast coastline, passing through cute fishing villages, world-class lagoon spots and doing awesome downwinders along the way.
October route — 11 days

November route — 11 or 15 days
Fortaleza → Cumbuco → Ilha do Guajiru → Jericoacoara → Barra Grande → (Mácapa — 15 days only) → back to Fortaleza
Every route takes you through a different side of Brazil — from mellow ocean spots to the powerful wind corridor around Jeri. Each stop has its own character, its own lagoon and its own pace.
Brazil is known for its daily consistent winds. No need to worry — it’s there. From 16 to 32 knots depending on the spot. We start easy in Taiba with cruisy 16–20 knots, building up to 25–32 knots around Jeri.

Quality & Care
Why us?!
We’ll take great care of you!
We arrange everything for you and make sure you know when to be where.
Our aim is to bring the right people to the right place. To be at the right spot for the wind and maximize your time on the water.
We value respect & kindness and ask you to treat your kite buddies and staff with that same manner. We are not a party-camp, but will host some party nights and can get you to the party if you want a bit more.
Ps. If you let us do our thing, you will get to do your thing in the best way possible 🙂
Pss: We host kitesurfers from all over the world. Come with an open heart and you will make kite friends for life!
For the kitesurf camp
Can I come all by myself?
Yes Please do! Most of our guest are ‘solo’ travellers at the beginning of the week. You will make friends here before you know it 🙂
What wetsuit do I need?
You won’t really need a wetsuit but if you are planning on pulling big loops & stay for all the sunset sessions – a 1 mm butt protection shorty will be useful.
I have a special diet. Can I join?
Yes, but if you have a serious allergy, please contact us before booking. Brazil is not the easiest to travel with a special diet. We like to keep the expectations fair.
It is veggie friendly (not perfect, but acceptable) and lot’s of healthy choices for those that want to stay fit.
Can I book private lessons?
Mmmm. If you need a refresher this can be arranged but we prefer you are independent already to get the most out of the experience. Maybe you can take some lessons before joining? We can help with that.
What does a typical day look like?
Hmmmm, it could be:
8 AM Breakfast
10 AM Yoga
11 AM First session before Acai
2 PM lunch time!
3 PM After lunch party on the water, are you ready?
7 PM Sunset drinks
8 PM dinner time
10 PM sleep / party / party in bed
(Some nights everyone is so tired and just wants to sleep at 10. It’s funny what kiting does to you..)
My flight arrives after midnight..
No problem! We will arrange your airport pick up and bring you to Taiba. But you will miss out on the first group dinner..
For your departure please make sure you book the right dates!
Do I bring my own gear?
Yes. That is the easiest & most comfy for this trip.
If for whatever reason you cannot bring your gear or really want to travel light; please let us know well in advance and book the Advanced+rental pack.
Do I bring sunscreen?
Loads. Bring sunscreen for your face & hands to keep you protected. Zinc might be good option. The more the better 😉
Can I prepare myself for the sessions?
Yess!
Go get that body moving! How do you prepare for 14 days of kiting non-stop? Work that body. Strong abs will help for all the tricks you want to try. Go go!
Duotone has a great library of video’s (for all levels), so if you want to mentally prepare for some new tricks, have a look HERE
